But overall the rooms are outdated, with a very strong smell of cleaning supplies. The aircondition is old and pointing directly at the bed, so we ended up with a bad throat infection the first day here (but 3rd week in Thailand). Talked to other guest who had experienced the same. "We enjoyed this resort from the moment we arrived, extended our stay the day after arriving. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Everything we needed was easily accessible. Kayaks, and snorkels provided for use, restaurant was great. Everything was amazing. We stayed for 7 nights. Exploring was easy on a scooter, other places we wouldn't even think about driving, but Koh lanta is very chill. A beach front villa is what we had. Amazing! Very much recommend if you're looking to relax and enjoy local amenities"
