"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel! We mainly wanted to explore Mount Titlis and this hotel is a 10 minute walk from there. The hotel has really beautiful views of the mountains. The restaurant and breakfast they have was also quite good! The hotel also has a lot of restaurants and bars around. The are also plenty of shops around.
Caroline helped us out a lot during our stay and if it wasn’t for her, we would have a much more difficult time during our stay! "

Seerausch Swiss Quality Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was an excellent hotel , we had a family room , which consisted of a separate single bed and a king bed in the very large lounge area , and 2 separate bathrooms , the balconies looked out onto both the lake and sideways at the hills , the only thing it didn’t have was air conditioning, but they did provide fans in both rooms , it was over 30 degrees for our visit , so not sure if that’s normal , we used the restaurant for one evening meal and the food was lovely , and one member of staff went above and beyond , explaining in English what things were , not sure if her name . The receptionist that greeted us was also fantastic, even lent us an adapter as I did not realise Switzerland had a different plug adapter to the uk , the lake area had lots of sunloungers , a bar and you could swim in the lake from some steps ,would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone "
"Nice old-style bed and restaurant hotel with a lovely staff that was very detail oriented during check-in. Felt very at home in the pub area and during meals.
Bedding was quite comfortable and peaceful. You will hear guests walking about the stairs and over your room with the older wooden build, but it was part of the charm in a way.
Dinner was very good and the morning breakfast spread is typical European flair and filled us up for the day.
Views of the mountainside were wonderful, TV selections vary in many different languages if you get stuck inside for a bit.
Small grocery store across the street and the Post Bus heading to Stans or Seelisberg picks up right in front of the hotel. Very convenient for hikers or if you want to take one of the few cable cars up the mountains."
"Boutique Hotel Schluessel was perfect for a remote getaway. The staff are incredibly friendly and cannot do enough for you. The hotel rooms are spacious and clean and there are lots of amenities including a self service mini bar, hairdryers and drinking water faucets in the rooms. Our room was warm in the heat of the summer but we were provided with fans which kept the room cool. Would recommend eating at the hotel restaurant - a beautiful setting for dinner and fresh ingredients used. The breakfast was simple but lovely and the hotel went to effort to make sure we knew where all the ingredients were sourced from. It felt like an authentic Swiss countryside experience. The location is quite remote but easily accessible by frequent 311 busses. There is a short but steep walk up hill to the hotel but we got quite used to this by the end of our trip! "
"Very clean, modern and comfortable stay. Very well maintained. The view from here is amazing. The host is very nice and overall experience is great. I would highly recommend this place for families. "
Holiday House Daniela; great lake view and fireplace, perfect for the family holiday
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was perfect.Booking was easy, Chris’ instructions clear as day and communicating with him was quick and friendly, the house is situated beautifully, it was spotless clean, and while it may look a bit outdated it has everything one need and more (sharp knives for instance, something lacking in lots of rentals we have visited over the years). Oh yeah, it was also very reasonably priced. All in all, a must-go-to if one wants to visit Emmetten and its (beautiful) surroundings."
