We stayed at the Presidential suite which is huge. We loved the walkable location. Kisumu is a very clean city. The cleanest I have been to in Kenya and a role model for what Nairobi could be. The hotel is well located.. with great views of the Lake and close to the airport.

Great only the bathroom no working exhauster it seems. Restaurant service was fantastic and the pool/outside dining area really beautiful.

This is the best place to stay in Kisumu. Love that it’s attached to the mall as well. Convenient and safe.

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel multiple times as we return to Kisumu to visit family and friends. We are never disappointed. It is a wonderful hotel with excellent staff. The poolside restaurant is particularly good. Highly recommend.

Acacia is to Kisumu what Golf is to Kakamega. Underwhelmed but grateful for the experience. Beautiful views from rooftop. Surprisingly good chocolate cake!

I thought the Acacia Premier Hotel was fabulous. The hotel location was next to a food mart which was perfect as I needed particular items. The food choices for breakfast was plentiful. I was able to eat dinner after a late evening check in and the food was excellent! I will return to this hotel my next time in Kisumu.

The hotel needs to invest in sound proofing. There is a mosque next door who start prayers early morning from 4:30am and are loud so i didn't get much sleep.

The plus includes its proximity to the commercial district and the a shopping mall below. The food was remarkable, Breakfast was a charm. The lighting in the room was not work friendly. We spent one week, there were no drawers, no iron or iron board in the room, available on request. The hotel staff was responsive to our requests, which were not many, they were excellent. The gym was a plus.

My first visit to Kisumu and found this establishment adequate. WiFi works well, breakfast is decent. Cleanliness can be improved and the state of the bathrooms definitely need attention. The service quality of the staff makes up a bit for the physical state of this aging establishment.

Acacia Kisumu
Checkin required an X-ray security screening, which was actually comforting. Front desk Service was efficient and fast. I booked as one person not even thinking about the fact my husband would join. The staff was concerned about the breakfast cost and told me my husband would have to pay a fee. No problem. We have an early flight and will likely miss the start of breakfast anyway. I DID request extra towels and I had to return to the front desk a second time before (one towel) was delivered. I’d rather be charged outright for an additional person than receive less than exemplary customer service. I do like that a mall is attached. And the view from the pool area is magnificent.

Nice business standard hotel in Kisumu
The staff were falling over themselves to be helpful. The room was exactly as one would expect for a business hotel in a major city centre - despite Kisumu not being as such. The place was immaculately clean, and my room was modern, clean, spacious, and comfortable.

The property is very good for business travelers. Not too good for leisure travelers as the sights are a car ride away. That being said, the Kenyan decor is amazing in the hotel, the welcome etc is excellent. The terrace on the 2nd floor has great views of Lake Victoria and a nice place to sit and have a drink and bitings. Keep it up!!

This was a really nice place to stay during the Covid curfew - we were all vaccinated but hung out on the rooftop deck rather than venturing out. Good security. Good food and drinks. Great stop on our way.

My first time to stay at Acacia. Check in and check out had friendly staff, service was efficient. Was there for s conference, buffet offered was generally poor, both in terms of food items and service. Room assigned was noisy, could not quite pick where the noise was coming from. Breakfast set up was great, with a wide selection of food including vegeterian. However, was disappointed with taste of food
