"The room was spacious clean and quiet. Parking was close to the room and the breakfast that was included in our stay was fabulous. Fresh prepared omelettes or waffles with all the fixings. "The Place is exceptional ! Its a gorgeous home with comfortable, modern decor, lots of space, kitchen with everything you'd need for your stay.We loved the many thoughtful touches throughout and were welcomed with treats and a card.Kristy is an excellent host, checking in that we had everything we needed for our stay and quick replies to any questions.We will definitely be back for a longer stay! "Our hostess was delightfully warm, kind and gracious in all aspects of our stay. From the time of our arrival until our departure the next morning after breakfast we felt at home and in a very relaxed environment. The personalized access to the front door was easy to remember, the private parking space was extremely convenient to load and unload our bags & accessories, and our bedroom/bathroom were situated in a private hallway upstairs. Our bedroom even included water, a refridgerator (if we wanted to use it) along with a fan and additional pillows and bedding for our ultimate comfort. Breakfast was wonderful!!! It was a beautiful Sunday at the end of September (2025) and we ate under the gazebo overlooking the pool and the long backyard which connected to a large pond at the end of the property. The weather was great and we didn't need to use the heater that was available if by chance we were at all chilly. The breakfast included locally sourced, farm-fresh eggs, 2 differnt fresh local jams, peanut butter, butter, yogurt, various kinds of fresh bread for our toast, 2 fresh croissants and a huge bowl of fresh, in-season fruit along with orange juice and bottomless freshly brewed coffee at our disposal. What a wonderful experience... Our next stay in Prince Edward County will definitely include another stay at the YELLOW ROOF B&B. Highly recommended 5-1/2 out of 5!!! Thank you Denise. "Alan, the owner, met us on our arrival and was very friendly and informative. The property was perfect for myself, my wife and our dog. There was plenty of garden for him and lots of fields around. The property was very comfortable and provided everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was easy to reach all parts of PEC and we took advantage of visiting the whole area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Alan was a great host. We will be back."
