"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"Our party was two married couples all about 60 years old staying one night. We found the space clean, well stocked with a small grocery store close by. The owner was easy to communicate with and provided excellent information. Renters do need to be aware of the loft bedroom access via pull down ladder as some might find it challenging. However, we did not and would stay there again."

"Lovely accommodation in a peaceful location. Short and pleasant walk to Doune Castle and into Doune itself. The cottage has everything you could need and beautifully decorated. We had a fantastic weekend stay. "

"Lovely, clean and well equipped cottage, parking is about 100m away so be prepared to carry your luggage, the bathroom is on the ground floor and the stairs to the bedroom are quiet steep but we managed ok, The village itself lacks anywhere to have a meal but there is a well stocked shop nearby, we found all the locals to be friendly and the local pub is a gem. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay visiting the local sights and would recommend the cottage."

"After a long drive to get there it was lovely to dump the cases and get into the hot tub. The accommodation was better than expected and we both enjoyed our stay there. We were told that the drive was a wee bit tight but other than that, no issues"
