A faultless stay. It was our second time at the White House and it didn't disappoint. The breakfast is the best we've had anywhere. Highly recommend if you're looking for somewhere. Great location for exploring north Norfolk.

Our recent break at The White House was fantastic!! Everything from staff, room, facilities, hospitality was just exceptional. Having stayed at many hotels in UK and abroad i would say that The White House is our No 1 place to stay.

Enjoyed our stay. We did have trouble adjusting heat switch, it stayed at 20 C and from top floor room we had to hurtle back down to get milk for drinks as we were without a fridge

3 night stay to attend concert at Sandringham. What an amazing place! Beautifully appointed & furnished. Very welcoming. Loved the homemade cookies and cake! It was like being welcomed into someone’s home. Would definitely stay again.

Relax in style

A wonderful place to be. The White House is beautifully set up to enjoy a relaxing retreat. The rooms are stylish and make the most of the area they are in. Dining and lounge areas are tastefully presented and outside the lavender garden provides the atmosphere to relax. The dinning is of a high standard as is the hospitality. A perfect place. My second visit from Australia and not the last.

Whilst we enjoyed our stay and will certainly return, we did however find in-house prices for food and snacks incredibly expensive for quality and quantity, also a large service charge added with know forward warning.

I felt like an honoured personal guest at The White House. It's on a farm which feels remote but is actually close to Burnham Market and the Holkham Beach, one of the best beaches in the UK Breakfast was delicious, I had Eggs Florentine every morning although there were many other choices. My bedroom was clean and comfortable. I can not say anything further as space is limited but the White House deserves at least 5 stars

Spent 3 nights at the White House and left feeling very relaxed and happy with the choice of B&B. The staff are a real asset to the WH. Both the buffet selection (small, but everything one would need) and hot breakfast was quality, tasty and plentiful. We stayed in room 4, bed was very comfortable on night 1 but had some back-pain night 2/3! Otherwise great well portioned room, very quiet and relaxing. Internet was a bit hit and miss so great place to switch off from busy lifestyles. Free Cakes and divine shortbread at the honesty was a great touch although removed by 6.30-7pm, by the time we returned from a day out. Honesty bar also great touch and seemed reasonably priced! Would defo recommend.

Booked in for 3 nights B&B. It was our first visit to The White House. Positives. Beautiful location. Reception rooms luxurious. Breakfast menu and food good but let down with hot food served on cold plates. En-suite a touch of luxury. Negatives. There is no designated Reception area and no front of house staff to greet guests and ensure they know where all the facilities are and check guests are ok carry their luggage up to their room. After wandering around the reception rooms we found a box on a table with bedroom keys labelled with guest names. Instructions on how to find your bedroom on a sheet of paper next to the box of keys. Indeed throughout our stay we never saw any staff except the waitress at breakfast time. All details of The White House ‘Welcome Pack’ etc is online. Not good enough! Bedroom average but beautiful bathroom. No wardrobe just a row of coat pegs and some plastic coat hangers. The following day on our return the bed was unmade, used coffee cups, bins not emptied etc. No mention of lack of in-house cleaning of bedrooms on website. I looked to find a member of staff for an explanation but there was no one in the house. Other guests informed me a note should have been left in our bedroom on arrival explaining lack of in house service and to go online ask to request room service. The absence of a designated Reception area and lack of front of house staff etc needs to be addressed.

Enjoyed our stay,room was very nice,extremely clean bathroom. Staff were extremely pleasant,and the lady in the restaurant for breakfast (sorry I can't remember her name),was extremely diligent and service was spot on . Next time we go,we will make it later in the week,and eat at the restaurant. All in all ,lovely place

Property and rooms have very good facilities and were very clean (underfloor heating a bit of a mystery was advised not to touch in advance and didn't... but temp on late night arrival was 23 degrees but by the next morning was a tropical 25.5 degrees) the property location is very isolated with single track roads all around. Breakfast service very military style - extremely well orchestrated and food good and cooked to order but quite formal. They missed the personal friendly approach where you could get suggestions/recommendations on local information on where to go/what to do
