"This hotel has friendly, helpful staff and is close to a lot of attractions for visitors. The room was big and comfortable with an office chair and a sitting chair. The view was of the street so nothing great there. There is a parking garage we left our car in the majority of our stay because there was so many places within walking distance. "

"We were in town for a tournament. We booked this hotel for location and they had an indoor pool. The pool was closed for maintenance. Super bummed. Weren’t made aware. The room was not clean. It was “clean enough” but the layers of dust,hair and dirt in bathroom corners, poop on toilet bowl Bottom, stained sheet,mold on the ice machine- it smelled like sulfur and weed in the halls. For the amount of money charged it was not worth it. Breakfast was a pretty good selection of food but both types of fruit my daughter chose were rotten and inedible. "

"We have stayed at the Palomar in the past and were disappointed that they no longer provide robes and there is no longer a coffee maker in the room. No one wants to leave their room to get morning coffee.."

"I was able to check in early. The first room I was assigned was filthy and run down. Dust everywhere, excrement stains all over the side and back of toilet, rust and mildew in the tub, paint falling off the ceiling, stains on the sheets and walls, and hair everywhere. I went downstairs and noted the issue and was given another room. The new room was one 1.5 steps above the other on the cleanliness scale. Luckily i brought gloves, lysol wipes, and trash bags (they dont give you trash bags). I spent about 30mins making the room livable between inspecting the sheets to make sure they werent dirty (clean sheets this time and mattress covers) and cleaning the surface areas and bathroom. The beds are firm and pillows are lousy. I had to pile all 4 pillows together just to get any kind of next support. They gave me a credit for “The Art Bar” which we used for breakfast. The staff at the bar seemed like they were exhausted and ready to end the work day (it was 10am). We ordered breakfast sandwiches when we received them, they were burnt to a crisp with no flavor. There are 4 elevators but each morning it took about 10mins to get to the lobby bc they barely worked. Front desk staff was nice but overall, this hotel sucked. I will never ever stay at another Sonesta. Shut this raggedy place down and start over…"

"Great hotel but do not like the $28 "activity fee" and did not see any activities which this fee would cover. Breakfast was so slow it was not possible to order on the menu. I cant always eat so much as to need a buffet."
