"Clean airy room, they had plenty of towels and clean bedding. They had put the trundle bed out ready which I thought was nice. They had ample parking which was really useful. The room had some aspects which felt a little cheap, the kettle wouldn’t shut properly, the sink wouldn’t unplug, which was annoying when brushing our teeth, and the curtains nearly fell from the wall when trying to close them."

"Started off badly as given wrong alarm code so had to involve neighbours who kindly stepped in as this was often happening apparently. Beautiful house, well equipped but maintenance could be better. Unable to close curtains as hanging off rail which was unfortunate in heat and at night bad loss of privacy. Could not use freezer or air fryer as sorry to say too dirty. We found front door locks stiff and hard to use. On positive side the back garden was beautiful, everything needed was there, location was lovely and we enjoyed our holiday. It just needs a good clean as many cobwebs were found, and we had to wash all equipment before we could use it."

"The staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is slightly dated but clean. Our room was a basic double with a rear yard view but was clean. Bathroom was good and a powerful shower. TV and tea making as expected. There's no parking and on street outside the hotel is £3 an hour. Free parking between 6pm to 9am but that still equates to £27 per day. I managed to find free on street parking up the hill, about a 10 minutes walk away. Hotel is bang in the middle of all the bars and restaurants on the harbour and 2 minutes walk to the UK's largest Wetherspoons with lovely views over the beach and sea. Would stay again."

"The moment we booked this house Julie and Cliff were always able to answer our questions promptly and provided detailed information. On arrival all the entry information provided worked smoothly. The house was spotless and for 2 guests everything provided was of a very high standard. The information folder was invaluable. From taking breakfast in the courtyard, walking for 5 minutes to the beach and then watching the World Cup from the reclining sofas was a real pleasure. It was lovely to have 2 bathrooms and the downstairs shower room although small was more than adequate. We will definitely come back to this house !"
