"Hotel is immaculate and rooms are spotless. Room was amazing we couldn’t fault it but we didn’t sleep too well due to the heat of the room. We couldn’t figure out how to turn the heating down as some radiators had knobs to change this some didn’t, it was like a sauna so we didn’t sleep very well. Food was ok it was very overpriced for what it was. I got prawns to start and it had 3 prawns in it and they were not the biggest either which was 11/12 pound. For main I got scallops that were Lovely but wasn't the most filling, they came with chips but staff forgot to give us the chips until we finished. 27 pound for a small plate with some scallops very overpriced but they where nice just not the most filling plate for a main. Frozen Strawberry daiquiris were amazing highly recommend. Bar area felt more like a cafe didn’t really have much atmosphere but that’s just a personal observation. All staff from the restaurant to the bar to the reception desk and spa where all so friendly and welcoming. Spa itself is amazing loved every minute of it. We got a bite to eat in spa lounge food was nice but I ordered a glass of water and a coke and it didn’t come until I finished my meal 15 minutes later. Was a little disappointed you could use blue light card for main restaurant but not the spa lounge even though it’s the same food and coming from the same place just in a different room. Overall the hotel itself was great and spa was amazing."

"Hotel did not live up my expectations. It seems they have updated some things however cheaply. Ensuite bathroom was redone, broken drain and no toilet tissue holder. The overall smell of fragrance is overwhelming and carpet looks molded. Service was curt at check-in. Was told breakfast til 10:00, went down at 9:20 and then told it ended at 9:00. Told them of mix up and was not offered even a cup of coffee. Very disappointing."

"Really clean room, comfortable bed, quiet at night, super breakfast and great value. No negatives only ventured into town because no sky sports tv available in bar. Can’t have it all I suppose! Just naturally greedy 😃"

"Ryan, the owner / manager was really helpful & quick to respond to my questions when I was booking. The bungalow has been newly renovated and it was obvious that there had not been many people staying here. It was perfect for the 2 of us with our dogs and was lovely and warm in the evenings. The speaking bed in the main bedroom was an added bonus and the kitchen was well stocked. We probably would visit here again but only if we are on our own, not with family because there are only 2 chairs and a tiny dining table. So as I said it’s fabulous for 2 and although there are two great double bedrooms, the living space is very limited for any more than 2 people. This will be fine in the summer months when you can sit outside but not when it’s cold. The sitting area and dining area is very limited for any more than 2. But we had a fabulous week here and we will most likely book again. Thank you so much. "
