A very relaxing hotel with a food menu that had vegan options. I also had a vegan voiked breakfadt that included vegan haggis. Very good.

Pros - great location, big free car park, good tea tray and even bath robes in room Cons - remote control filthy, tape on window to stop you opening it ? Breakfast service poor - no interaction from staff asking if all ok etc ? Bathroom snug - over 6ft you might struggle to sit on toilet without your knees pushed up against wall

Great stay. Breakfast was a bit overpriced for the amount and quality of the food but can’t complain as it was free. Room was overpriced but understandable due to being the only hotel there staff were lovely and had such a nice welcome.

Very nice and helpful staff. Hotel is brilliantly located (5 min.from train stop and 15 min. walk to the ferry to Isle of Arran (gorgeous! well worth a visit). Lauriston Hotel is a good value. Food isnt gourmet, but tasty and filling. For budget minded travelers, well worth considering.

nice hotel and nice value

definately enjoyed our stay at The Lauriston, the staff were very friendly, the brakfast was excellent as well as the restaurant where we had a meal for 10 in the evening, it had a large parking area which was very convienient. great price too so overall i definately recomend it
