"Good location to visit surrounding areas. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and a standard cabin for 2 nights. Comfortable room sizes. Pool could use couple more chairs or loungers for guests to use. Landscaping opportunities around the property to alleviate less mud build-up might want to be considered. Easy check-in, check out. "Hotel centrally located. 1-2 blocks from Four Mile Beach and a few blocks from the stores and restaurants. Ideal. Free parking. Small pool area but made to look like a beach. Small “spa” room. Breakfast buffet $40 and also small and limited choices so we skipped."

"Great hotel with beautiful gardens and surrounds, swim up bar was cool and plenty of fun for the kids. Only slight issue we had was there was no monitoring of towels reserving pool chairs. Sometimes these pool chairs were reserved for a hour and sometimes up to half a day which ruins the experience for travelers that don’t behave this way…"

"We did not stay at the Daintree Wilderness due to Expedia overbooking at this hotel. The staff at Daintree Wilderness tried unsuccessfully to notify us and unsolicited found us another hotel nearby to stay Cockatoo hotel which was lovely the owner was gracious and helpful and the room had a large window overlooking the forest. It was light and airy and clean. We were so impressed with Daintree Wilderness staff apology and willing to make it right even though it was not their error. We returned to Daintree for dinner-delicious! Barramundi, potatoes, salad, and the service was friendly and professional. We returned to Daintree the next morning for breakfast which was delicious and fresh-bacon, sourdough bread, fried egg over medium (perfection!), jam with a fresh pot of coffee and juice. So good. Although we did not stay at Daintree we recommend it for the excellent service, the friendly and kind staff and the accommodation on the outside appeared homey and yet modern."
