"This was an absolute gem! This home had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We enjoyed the amazing view, and all the small touches the owners thought of! Light switches were labeled for ease of use. So many hidden amenities. Check out process and requests are very minimal. Home was very clean, well stocked and a wonderful place for our group of 7 adults to stay at. "

"The room wasn't properly cleaned. There was mold/ mildew along the entire bottom of shower curtain. The TV remotes were absolutely filthy & gross with lots of gunk around & on buttons. The ceiling tiles were 75% falling down, you could actually see between the ceiling squares & the space above it with "stuff ??" hanging In there. There were scratches & many repair spots on walls. The sheets I'm not even sure were clean, but was too tired to walk down & up the 600 steep stairs again, but they also do many snags & straggly threads. One of the TVs didn't work more than 25% of the time. It would work for a 1 - 3 minutes & then it was of again, that was constant which finally made it too annoying to even bother. Overall... I will never have any desire to stay again & certainly will not recommend it to any else. This was my husband & my 1st "vacation/ stay cation" in 10 years & it was miserable. We left feeling worse than when we arrived. I hope future guests will find many repairs & upgrades that will make a more enjoyable stay than we had."

"This place was very unkept and dirty throughout the property. We had ants all over the inside of the house crawling throughout. Many cobwebs were also seen. The shower had mold/mildew in a lot of the grout and the bathtub drain was dirty from previous use. The outside of the property had not been cleaned up in quite some time. The description leads you on to believe that it is actually waterfront and you have quick access to the lake. However, it’s across the street and there isn’t available access unless you find the public areas. There are several descriptors used to highlight amenities that is completely false. I had to ask to get check in instructions and didn’t receive those until 30 mins prior to when we could check in. The host was not very responsive to questions and the overall experience was extremely terrible. I tried contacting the host about our experience and never got a message back. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. This isn’t worth paying any amount of money for."

"Everything about our stay was fantastic. Communication with the host was excellent and responses were extremely quick and detailed. My only two suggestions on improvements would be to install room-darkening blinds in the bedroom as it gets quite bright even with them closed, and also to move the hot-tub cover to the other side so that the view from the woods is not obstructed from the tub and that you aren't staring at the neighbor's windows.Thank you for the fantastic stay, would absolutely stay again."

"Property was as advertised. With all the rain this spring the lakefront ground was wet and squishy, but that's on Mother Nature, not the Host!"

"Host was welcoming. A few opportunities for a five-star rating....Beds were not made with sheets. Not enough coffee mugs (2 mugs) and cups for the number of people able to stay, no trash bags available. Could be better signage to find the cottage in the dark. Also, the outdoor trash receptacles were overflowing before we had trash to put in them. The cottage was a good landing pad for us overall, with enough space for the family and dogs.
