Private dock on large, spring-fed lake with kayaks
10/10 Excellent
"This was an amazing retreat! Home had everything we needed plus more. Please make sure you understand the amount of steps that go down to the lake. We knew and it was still a lot. But, I feel in better shape leaving. Haha. Kitchen has everythingfor your cooking needs (plus all of the cleaning essentials for dishes), tons of towels (so you don’t have to bring your own), kayaks, swim toys, grill and outdoor fire pit. Absolutely loved the screen in back porch!! The view is spectacular from the porch. The home is cozy and quaint. Lots of neat things on the walls. Also, we spent so much time on the floating dock with the diving boards! So much fun!! If we weren’t going back to the beach next summer, we would totally rent this place again. Also, shout out to the neighbors. They were awesome also!"
"It was a beautiful home and it was away from the hustle and bustle but was also a decently close drive to get to things. Overall we absolutely loved our stay at this home."
The Turk Lake House - Lakefront with Toys and A/C!
10/10 Excellent
"We have been blessed to have Turk lake available for us twice in the last year to allow us to say our final good byes to my mother and father in law 1 year apart exactly. The beautiful view and feeling of being completely secluded with the convenience of a restaurant/bar with live music next door is unmatched. thank you for allowing us to share in your little piece of heaven as we Mourn these losses."
"This was a wonderful experience, the home was cozy, and the amenities were very good. On quiet road, with beautiful views of the lake. We just left and can't wait til next year to come back!!"
"Very clean and thoroughly equipped cottage on a beautiful lake. The entire property was well stocked with virtually every amenity you could think of. The owners really went above and beyond to think through anything you might want or need during your stay and included it on the property. We rented the pontoon and kayaks which made the experience all the more special. My son really enjoyed fishing off the dock, where he caught 8 fish in one afternoon. We spent most of our time in the large yard overlooking the lake where we could relax, read, play games and just enjoy the scenery. Although the cottage is located in a more remote area, it’s only a 15 minute drive into Greenville which has plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and anything else you would need. We frequented a local ice cream shop which was less than 5 minutes away. Our favorite activity was just swimming in the lake. Beautiful, clean, clear and refreshing water!"
