Splash Inn!

Splash Inn is a cute little cottage located on all sports Cowden Lake. It has a beautiful view on the lakefront property. It is just the right fit for your family or a few friends on a getaway retreat! Enjoy swimming, fishing, boating, and just relaxing. After a day in the water, you can watch the sunset while enjoying a fire.

On the main floor, you will find a living room, 2 bedrooms (1 queen/1 full with twin bunk) and a full bath. On the newly remodeled lower level you will find an open area containing a loveseat (with hide-a-bed), kitchen, island, gathering area, and table. Also a half bath is on the lower level. Both levels provide excellent viewing of the lake.

Photos are of the beach right from the front yard of the cottage. You have your own beach for swimming and dock for fishing or to tie your boat up to!

You may have use of 2 complimentary kayaks and a paddle boat upon request! Additional kayaks available at $25.00.

Cowden Lake is located in Montcalm County, Michigan. This lake is 128 acres in size. It is approximately 50 feet deep at its deepest point. When fishing, anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Bluegill, Flathead Catfish, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, and Yellow Perch.

We are located just 40 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids and 25 minutes to premium golfing.

This lovely little cottage was perfect for my daughter, mom, and I on our girl’s weekend. Temps dipped into the 40s but the space heaters kept us cozy. Kitchen had the basics plus a little extra (foil & coffee) which was appreciated. Good firewood and friendly neighbors. Would stay here again!

Exactly what we were looking for

Our stay at the splash inn was one of our best vacations yet. The beach was very nice and well maintained, the water was clean and warm. We had a great time just swimming, fishing, and enjoying the paddle boat and kayaks. The lake and sand are perfect for little kids to enjoy time in the water.Very nice and quiet lake community with very friendly neighbors. Can't wait to stay here again.

Nice place , clean and well equipped . The kitchen was great with a big table and lots of room to gather together .Convenient picnic table outside close to the grill. We enjoyed the lake and the use of the paddle boat and 2 kayaks.

Lovely place for family

All the family had a wonderful time. The kayaks, paddle boat, water toys & games in the shed were all used and enjoyed. The sunsets are beautiful, we even had to stop card games to go out and watch. Hosts are very attentive and easy to reach for any questions. We will be returning.

My family and I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay at Splash Inn! Anne / Pat were very gracious hosts and communicated well before and during our stay! They even delivered an extra Kayak for us prior to our arrival. Was great family time and memories made as we enjoyed the water, beach area, Kayaks and Paddleboat and always enjoyed a Bonfire to cap each night. We will definitely return in the future! 5/5 stars and highly recommended for anyone looking to visit Splash Inn!

Quick getaway

I was looking for a quick getaway for a couple days for me, my husband and son. I was instantly sold on this lakefront property and it did not disappoint. Relaxing mini vacay

We had a great little family vacation at Splash Inn! The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and it was a very peaceful, relaxing location. There’s a nice big kitchen table where we played games at night and during the day we fished, used the kayaks and paddle boat, and painted outside at the picnic table. My daughter really enjoyed the water and finding shells and playing in the sand. We also used the fire pit and made smores. It was all just perfect. Would absolutely stay here again. Anne, the host, was very responsive and kind. Definitely recommend!

Fun family week at Cowden Lake, Coral MI

Fun and relaxing 7 days at the cottage. Splash Inn comfortably slept six persons when needed. Most (local) family came up for the day, and left in the evening as it’s a short drive from the Grand Rapids/Rockford MI area. The cottage was very well-equipped. Just bring along clothing and food—and you’ll be all set. Anne S. was very communicative, checked in on us (via texting) during our stay, and we felt quite well taken care of. The family loved Splash, and its history of reviews were spot-on!

Charming Getaway

This property is such a gem that we plan on going back! Situated on a slight incline to the lake, the view from the cottage is spectacular. Clean, stocked with linens and kitchen supplies, grill, plenty of outdoor space with seating. Two kayaks for renters' use. The check-in process was seamless. Pat was readily available for any/all questions and so accommodating and friendly. Don't miss this little oasis. It's worth every cent!

Exactly what I was looking for!

Stayed with my wife and two sons and had a great time. The house had everything we needed and the property was perfect. Really nice lake for kayaking and swimming with the boys. The weather was warm but the nice breeze coming off the lake made sure the AC was not turned on. We were able to fish off the dock and had a nice time catching small fish. Having a gas grill was great, it made it possible to make meals without a hassle. You will definitely want to bring or buy drinking water. We utilized the kayaks every day and the kids had fun on the sandy beach. Overall it was a great trip.

Summer getaway at Splash Inn

We had a wonderful week here with plenty provided to welcome us and make for a great stay. We appreciated the upstairs and downstairs common areas. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboats, and bocce ball. It was great to have the firewood and s'mores supplies provided! I was a little worried the lake would not be woodsy and some cottages aren't, but the stretch for this cottage is quiet and shady. There's sandy bottom to play in for a few feet in the lake and then you need to float, boat, paddle out on something. I recommend Anderson & Girls Orchard for a great free mini zoo. Overall we had a great stay, no issues, great communication, and I recommend it!
