"We had a weekend stay in Monsell Hotel in a ground floor twin room which was great for mum as she has problem with stairs. The hotel is well located only a 10 minute stroll from the clock tower, shops & beach just a little further. The hotel is clean & has basic amenities, the staff are welcoming & friendly. "

"We stayed in Room 403 ( annex) ground floor and had the worst night sleep. Bed was very hard, room was stuffy and the sound proofing was poor meaning with the people staying above us, we were kept us awake most of the night with talking, walking up and down etc. we asked to move for the second night. This was to Cabin #4. This was ok but there was loud music (Saturday night) that again kept us awake until 3am. Would not recommend if you want a restful nights sleep. "

"Grt breakfast and evening meal.everywhere very clean.all stall welcoming. Was able to upgrsde to a downstairs room because of mobility issues.only downside was not enough room for disabled people at front of hotel.will definately return"

"We really enjoyed our stay, our room was clean and even had a little extra heater provided which was a nice touch. Everywhere was clean, the breakfast was delicious and cooked lovely. The bar was very nice too with board games and a nice selection of drinks. Staff very pleasant and friendly. Would recommend and would stay again. Thank you! "

"Very clean, amazing hotel, love the decor, love all the fancy lights in the rooms. Shower could of been hotter. Plenty of choice for the breakfast buffet, only thing we couldn't work out was the coffee machine pod. There was noise coming from outside but that was from the binmen I believe and it was at 6 30am on a Sunday morning , which I didn't want waking up at that time. Other than that it was a comfortable night and will be back again"
