- Relax on the lanai while enjoying the beautiful palm trees and flowers; or cozy up in the living room to listen to the nearby waves, coqui frogs, and birds. Walk to the cliffs to watch the sunrise, dramatic waves, and beautiful night sky. The Haena (Shipman) Beach trailhead is 3 minutes away where you may encounter numerous Honu (sea turtles) sunbathing on the rocks! Our Kaloli Point retreat includes a lovely living space with a luxury sofa bed and adjoining nicely appointed queen bedroom. Enjoy the newly remodeled master bathroom with double vanity sinks and beautiful tile shower. A mini-fridge, coffee maker, and microwave are also provided for your convenience.
Nearby Pahoa Town offers shopping, restaurants and the famous Maku'u Market. Or drive into Hilo to enjoy historic downtown, the Hilo Market, waterfalls, swimming, snorkeling, shopping, and museums. Volcano National Park is also a short drive away. So much to explore on the east side of The Big Island of Hawaii!
