"We had a very good night Sansuikan Kawayu Matsuya. They share hot springs and the restaurant with a nearby hotel. Hot springs are the absolute standout: fantastic! Food is good and plentiful. Our room had a brilliant view. All the rest is okay, although the exterior of the building is not nice."

"Special place traditional Japanese style cabin like but on the coast. We had an amazing stay, on a walk to get some dinner supplies at a market we were offered to come celebrate a holiday with community members, a truly special experience. Check in and out with lock box very convenient, be careful driving in as the streets are narrow and be respectful :D"

"This is quite a basic hut, but fine if you are in backpacking or camping mode. Upside is that it's close to the watarase onsen which was lovely, and a short bus drive from ukegawa trail head. Note that the check in is at the public bath next door, "
