Super friendly, nice and supportive staff all around the resort, so I can only mention a couple of names, "Sirja" at management & "Roshan" at Devarana wellness centre who also guided us patiently to trekking to Namobuddha as well. "Beautiful views and fresh air. Helium was a fantastic host, always polite and ready to help us however we needed. House was clean and bedroom was as described. Our flight was late in the evening so we were allowed to stay an extra 6 hours and Helium even went to collect some food. Breakfast was tasty and very filling. We loved it here and plan to return. "The Dwarika is an oasis. The spa and gym facilities are out of this world. It is a living cultural museum with wood carvings and art and traditional but fancy local cuisine. It was exactly what I needed after the Everest Marathon, a place to detox and recover. Even the air is better and sweeter in the hotel. It isn’t near Thamel but that is why it is peaceful. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It isn’t the luxury, it is the support of Nepali and Newari traditions that put it over the top. PS The basil lemonade is addictive PPS The lady who manages the treatment center is a fourth generation healer and she has an incredible nasya recipe for your sinuses and lungs PPS Try a game of Tigers and Goats"
