Great place to stay in Amed, cool & clean pool, helpful staff, gear washing and drying locations. Easy access to inshore diving.

Disliked: Amenities
The bungalow was clean, and staff was really nice.
I just didnt feel safe here, because the basic things were missing. At nights (from 8pm) there are no staff and anyone could just walk into the area.
Thats problem because the bungalows have no lock, and even bigger problem because they only have a small locker. So didnt feel safe leaving my backpack in a place where anyone could just really go and grab it.
Breakfast was really poor.. yes its cheap, but really i just felt hungy straight after eating it.
So this place could be nice, but they need to upgrade their security.
Lovely staff, great location, good showers, nice low-priced breakfast, you will meet other backpackers... I would have stayed here for longer time if it just was possible. The hostel is also a freediving center so great combination for people interested of that, and if you are not, there's still a 25m pool for swimming. Hostel also offers yoga lessons every evening. There's a possibility to take a pick-up shuttle bus from the hostel to e.g. Padangbai, Ubud, Sanur and Kuta. I do recommend.
The bay area is great and the hostel is close to a good spot for snorkelling. The hostel was clean but lack of mosquito nets resulted in loads of bites during the night. The air conditioner didn’t reach second floor so make sure you stay in the first floor. The hotel was still under construction during my stay.
