Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
This condo was not at all as listed. I called ahead to check if there was an extra charge for A/C-there wasn’t an extra charge because there was NO A/C in the bedroom.; but they didn’t bother to mention that.
There weren’t even glass windows in the bedroom, just screens with wooden louvres. There was detergent in the closet, but no washer and dryer like they advertised. It was “on property”, but not in the unit. The place was small, extremely hot and not at all as advertised.
The unit was in a building across the street from the main property and it was very run down and disappointing. You had to walk across the main road to get to the office and the pool.
The leasing company offered to send a portable A/C over the next day, but there were only screens and it wouldn’t have stayed cool in there. We walked away from the unit and found a place to stay in town that was so much nicer, cleaner and comfortable than this pitiful unit in Kona Bali Kai.
Had we known about the lack of A/C in the bedroom, we NEVER would have booked it. It was a total waste of money and time.
Booker beware—unless you want to sleep in a poorly ventilated, screened room, DO NOT book there.
