"Very impressed with this hotel and especially its staff. They took care to tell us about the area and made suggestions of what to see in the short time we were there. They even welcomed you with a glass of champagne!"

"Room was on the 6th floor. Weren’t told the correct lift at first so got a little lost . Had to go back to reception and were given correct instructions to find the room. Exceptionally hot during stay but air con in room was excellent thankfully. Very good location - next to Central Station and close to centre. Dam Square 10-15 min walk, Ann Frank House 25 min walk. Security in hotel very good - bar area very pleasant and reasonably priced . Towels were’nt the best quality- very thin and not generous in size. A non slip mat to use in the shower would be useful as I nearly slipped a couple of times Communal areas could have been cleaner dirt on the stairs remained for the duration of my stay and used food containers left outside rooms for a couple of days. . Overall staff friendly and helpful - a good budget hotel at a decent price . Would use again for convenience ."

"The hotel when you walk in looks like a library including a reading are with many available books, The staff was very helpful with my bags. The breakfast was very good with one major problem, it is not easy for guests with ability issues The breakfast room is at the top of long steep staircase. I chose this hotel due to the location which was very close to the Oosterdok where people taking a bike and barge trip will leave from."

"Absolutely excellent hotel in Amsterdam. About a 15 to 20 minute walk from Centraal train station, it’s located right along the water and immediately adjacent to the cruise passenger embarcation point. It’s a large hotel, great views, modern decor, spotlessly, clean, great linens, and the breakfast is absolutely outstanding. Very, very extensive buffet with high-quality food and drinks. Absolutely the perfect spot to stay if you’re coming in and out on the train and or leaving or arriving from a river or Ocean Cruise."
