"The location and views of this property are absolutely amazing, as the hotel sits on a 20 foot cliff Oceanside so you have constant breezes. You can climb down the rocks and get in the ocean and if it’s not too windy, you can get in the water as it is a rocky area. Online pics are likely old when the previous owner was operating it, it has substantial wear and tear and needs some love:) Shared kitchen is ill equipped, we bought a coffee maker for our large group of 10. The AC seemed to work fine in all the rooms, although temps were mild 82 was the high, and we opened our large windows at night and did not use the AC. Our rooms were clean, but we had to maintain them on our own. There were no staff present during the day to do any room housekeeping. Manager was available & fairly responsive via text. One staff was present 9 to 5, he spent the entire day on his phone, sweeping sand off the decks areas and occasionally dropping chemicals in the pool. He did empty the trash from the common areas before he left in the late afternoon. He was under utilized and could be doing so much more to bring that place up to where it was. The pool was pretty cloudy the entire eight day stay and we addressed this concern with the manager, he said they shocked it, which I’m not positive about:( they are obviously on a shoestring budget by all appearances. It would be nice if they had on-site manager that lived in the apartment and then it could be properly cared for & maintained "

"Staff unfriendly and rude, food and drinks would take up to and hour to get and if you ask, staff would get mad at you! Extremely limited food options at only one restaurant with 2 menus (italian-mexican-italian-mexican) Pool water cold. No music all day and no any kind of entertainment, everything is closed at 10pm. Beach small and overgrown with weeds. Towel shortage in the room and beach. "

"A hidden gem nestled away in the middle of the island, away from the bustle of the north beaches, but not too far to get in/out of town. The house was well appointed, the pool was excellent and the service provided by Mariana was excellent. "

"It was a 2 bedroom apartment on the middle east side of the island and it was perfect for our family!!! Spacious, clean, comfortable, your own balcony, easy check in and check out. Worth the money! Not near the busyness of town but not far either. "

"The house was nicely decorated and photos are true to it. Gorgeous view. Liked the neighborhood...and local restos. Chedraui walking distance away. We SORELY MISSED having a dishwasher. The description did not list a dw, we didn't notice that. We had 3 dinners at home, and in general the kitchen is small, especially the sink, where an extra tub would have helped to wash dishes. Could not find someone to hire to clean after dinner. We would have given 5 stars if we had had a dishwasher. The beds were fine. In the 3rd floor master, balcony door loudly rattled in the wind, and the water pressure was intermittently feeble. As for the hosts they were welcoming but needed prodding to be useful, especially when we arrived and the pool was greenish. It took a couple of days to rectify. "

"We had a great time at Villa Angela. The property was beautiful. The location is secluded and quiet which was very nice. The pool and private beach were perfect. It is a great place to just relax and unwind. All four bedrooms in the villa are huge and each has its own bathroom. The staff that take care of the property were wonderful and very responsive. The pool was cleaned daily and if we needed anything they responded immediately. Highly recommend to couples or families."

"Our host was extremely responsive to any question about the home or simply where to go and how to get there. The home was beautiful and extremely well maintained. The daily service was very good as well. i would recommend this property to anyone coming to ISLA-it is located in the center of the island and close to everything."
