"Room was clean and comfy. Staff was nice. That said, simple breakfast buffet is $16.95. Why? Parking is $5/day. Insulting. Walmart waters in room are $2. No fan in bathroom. Clothes left in drawer by previous guest. Rear entrance door was unsecured even though sign said you need key to enter. It was unlocked. Unsafe. Pool not open til Memorial Day. I won’t stay again because of the nickel and diming. "

Hyatt Place is a separate, more budget-friendly brand, and once you understand that distinction, you'll find this hotel is a decent place to stay. The property itself is new and well-maintained, which is a definite plus. Breakfast was good — a highlight worth mentioning. That said, a few things gave us pause: • Not ideal for families with young children or infants: the shower setup was not accommodating for little ones. • Thin walls and poor sound insulation: noise from inside the room can be heard outside, and vice versa.
