"Our male check in host was friendly and went out of his way to answer questions and meet our requests. He was friendly and you could tell he loved his job. He really set a great tone for the feel of the property. The room was clean and we loved the natural light in our room. I appreciated the power strips with lots of plugs! We also appreciated the drink machine with hot chocolate in the morning. Not sure about parking because my husband parked the car. I have back issues so the bed was too soft for me but it was fine for my husband. The pillows were too stuffed and tall for my neck. That is the one thing I would suggest is maybe an option for a thinner pillow. We had a great stay!"

"This was such a quaint and beautiful hotel in the heart of a busy city. I loved the Victorian era decorations and felt transported in time. At first we felt a little overwhelmed by the peacock wallpaper in our room but it grew on us, the bed was amazingly comfortable my husband and I had amazing sleep. The shower had strong pressure and was quick to heat up. They offered paid parking in a lot nearby that was also very convenient and worth the cost. We also absolutely loved the elevator with the bench seat and the staircases were gorgeous. Continental breakfast was included and also had a good selection of food options to start the day, overall would highly recommend!"
