"The courtyard was so beautiful. The history of the building added to the intrigue and charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful 2 night stay. Safety was a high priority with a fare to buzz in guests. The breakfast was very nice and again the cavern environment told a story that added to the experience. It’s a gem in Quito. "

"Never cleaned the room toiletpaper never replaced when empty television didn't work. I paid for a room for 2 and they took out 1 of the 2 towels. Wall very dirty."

"This hotel is so friendly. It's a very small hotel that trips you like a member of their family. Fair warning, the single rooms that don't include breakfast are low budget. it's a closet, but once I upgraded (<$50 a night for the upgrade) it was a double bed, nice bathroom, and it included the breakfast (which is nice). The biggest thing this hotel has going for it is the staff! I arrived at 3am, and they knew when I was I going to get there, and they were waiting for me . They serve breakfast, and have a restaurant, but I never took advantage. There are some very nice restaurants within a block from them (get the lasagne at the Italian restaurant close to it)."

"Our two bedroom, two bathroom apartment was perfect for our family’s week stay in Quito. Very clean and comfortably furnished. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Breakfast was perfect, so convenient to have in our apartment. "

"The staff stood at at Hotel David. Sandy and Joshua were extremely helpful and friendly. The negative is all the stairs at the hotel and no elevator. If not for the stairs, I would return again. I came with my brother who has issues walking. I cannot say enough good things about the helpful staff."
