Great location, helpful, friendly staff, great breakfast. Room was small but perfectly formed. Loved our wee balcony. Only slight downside was the very hot room in winter.

Shower fan and shower door rubber was loose.Shower door was not closing easily from day 1. Complained,told that technian will come the next day. When I enquired again,I was told that it was done. I reported that this was not done properly as door had to be forced closed and fan was still not working. All the tech did was put back the rubber. This remained as above until we departed and never resolved. There are no hot breakfast meals served daily,so if you are expecting any fried eggs for breakfast,this will not happen. I called Elver at Reception from Takseem and asked him to help me with which bus I should take to get back to the hotel. He said I should request this from the people in Takseem to get back to the hotel. I was stunned!!! This was the final straw for me. I was glad to leave and I will certainly not return to this hotel.

Værelserne er små men rigtige fine. Vi var der på en kort tur, så det passede os helt fint. Receptionen er venlige og behjælpelige. Hotellet ligger også et perfekt placering ift turistattraktioner og shopping i området. Hotellet er tæt på offentlig transport. Taxi er nødt til at holde en meget kort tur væk pga tram. Men alt i alt kan hotellet varmt anbefales!

Das Hotel ist absolut empfehlenswert. Es ist sehr zentral und man wird direkt freundlich und herzlich aufgenommen. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr aufmerksam, gastfreundlich, gehen auf Fragen offen ein und sind hilfsbereit. Auch das offensichtliche Teamwork mit allen Kollegen des Hotels (sowohl Rezeption als auch Zimmerreinigung und Frühstücksservice) widerspiegelt dass was für das Hotel am wichtigsten ist und der Gast fühlt sich fast wie Zuhause. Vielen Dank auch nochmals an das Hotelpersonal, Fouad Bey, Ehver Bey und Veysel Bey, für die kleine aber sehr wertschätzende Aufmerksamkeit die es zu meinem Geburtstag als auch am letzen Tag unserer Reise gab. Die Zimmer waren sauber, es gab extra Shampoo, Duschgel und Conditioner. Im Hotel gibt einen kleinen süßen Aufzug. Die Zimmer sind mit einem Flatscreen ausgestattet und haben sowohl türkische als auch russische Kanäle. Die Schilder für die Zimmer sind elektronisch über dem Rahmen sichtbar und man muss kein Schild aufhängen. Es gibt eine begehbare Dusche und einen Wasserkocher für warme Getränke. Das Frühstück war sehr üppig und bat viel Auswahl. Direkt am Hoteleingang gibt es eine Wechselstube und 2 Geldautomaten. Um das Hotel gibt es viele Restaurants, Cafes und kleine Geschäfte besuchen die nicht teuer und qualitativ gut sind. Das Black Tulip bietet die Kontaktaufnahme durch WhatsApp an was alles sehr viel einfacher macht. Ich würde das Hotel weiterempfehlen.

Die Unterkunft hat seinen Zweck in meinen Augen erfüllt. Nämlich das man paar Nächte zum schlafen hat. Plus Punkte war eigentlich nur, das im Zimmer eine Klima vorhanden war. Ansonsten war schade, das die Zimmer so gerichtet waren, das eine Privatsphäre ein Fremdwort für die Unterkunft geworden ist. Das Bett war unübertrieben weniger als ein Schritt zur Eingangstür des Zimmers entfernt.

Das Hotel wirkt von außen sehr klein und unscheinbar, aber innen ist alles sehr liebevoll und sauber eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer 402 war sehr groß, sauber und mit einem kleinen Balkon. Da die Straßenbahn Station direkt 10 meter neben dem Hotel liegt kann es ab und zu etwas lauter werden aber mit geschlossenem Fenster hört man davon nichts. Dafür ist die Lage einfach nur Top. Zu fuß erreicht man jeden Menge Geschäfte für Souvenirs, Lebensmittel oder Getränke. Sehr viele Restaurants was auch super ist. Straßenbahn direkt vor der Tür und in ca 10 minuten Fußweg erreicht man auch den Hafen von wo aus man überall kommt. Ich würde das Hotel jedem empfehlen der viel von Istanbul in kurzer Zeit sehen möchte 👍
