This was my third time staying at Alp Guesthouse. I first came with my family many years ago when I was small. We loved it so much we came back again when I was a bit older. I had fond memories and wanted to come back for my most recdnt trip. Every time I've stayed here, I've had a great experience. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the breakfast is delicious, the view from the terrace is amazing, and the location is excellent for sightseeing. I highly recommend!

A Cautionary Account for Western Travelers This establishment leaves an indelible impression — and not in a good way. From the moment of arrival, one is met with an undercurrent of prejudice against visitors from Western countries that borders on open hostility. The atmosphere is unmistakable; the staff make no attempt to conceal it. When I attempted a simple exchange in English, the employee abruptly claimed total inability to understand or speak the language, then promptly assigned me to what can only be described as the worst room on the property — a gloomy semi-basement space with a view fit for a storage unit. This petty act of disregard perfectly set the tone for what followed. The indifference began even earlier: despite confirming airport transfer in advance, no one arrived to collect me, nor did anyone respond to my repeated messages. Such disregard for basic communication and hospitality is emblematic of the operation as a whole. The dining situation only deepened the disappointment. “Breakfast included” is a hollow promise — expect a rotating array of the cheapest, most processed meats imaginable: limp slices of bologna, rubbery hot dogs, and the same sad hard-boiled eggs day after day. The so-called salads are an affront to the term, drenched in an unidentifiable white paste that renders them inedible. The sight of tomatoes and coffee served side by side at breakfast was the final bewildering touch in an already dismal culinary experience.

Excellent séjour. L hôtel était parfait, le personnel est si accueillant et bienveillant. L emplacement est juste top à 10 minutes à peine du sultan ahmet et topkapi. Notre chambre donnait sur une petite rue piétonne tres sympathique. Confort de la literie. Nous n avons eu aucun souci. Le petit déjeuner était équilibré, varié et surtout bon avec une vue panoramique. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel

Best hotel in Istanbul

Excellent location for visiting all the beautiful sites in Istanbul. Gorgeous little hotel with well equipped rooms, very comfortable and great value for money. The team are all lovely and extremely helpful and friendly, with helpful hints and ideas for visiting. Brilliant breakfast with a vast selection, served in a terrific terrace with views over the Bosphorus. A brilliant stay in Istanbul and we highly recommend. Will definitely be returning. Well done and thank you for making our stay in Istanbul so special!

Viešbutis labai geroje vietoje, per kelias minutes galima nueiti iki Sultanahmeto aikštės. Šalia gatvelė pilna restoranų. Nuostabus vaizdas pro kambario langą - į Marmuro jūrą. O nuo terasos atsiveriantys vaizdai tiesiog kvapą gniaužiantys. Skanūs pusryčiai, maistą ruošia miela moteris iš Gruzijos, draugiškas personalas. Terasa neužrakinama ir nakčiai, ištisą parą čia galima išgerti arbatos ar kavos. Buvo puiku su kitais viešbučio svečiais terasoje stebėti mėnulio užtemimą (2017-07-27). Kas su vynu, kas su alumi :) Manau, šį viešbutį rinksiuos dar kartą, o gal ir daugiau :)

Perfect place for staying in Istanbul. We stayed 7 nights. The hotel was close to every sightseeing yet it was in small street , for peaceful sleep. Great WiFi, excellent breakfast and room was perfectly clean and spacious. The hotel is just a couple steps from street with great restaurants.

NICE spot!

A very well located small guest house around the corner from Blue Mosque, Ayia Sofia and Lales Pudding Shop! Many good and value priced restaurants a hundred metres or so away, yet reasonbly quiet except for 5 minutes 5 times a day.....but you get used to it! A very nice man named Mustafa works on the front desk and we had several insightful conversations with him. All-in-all, a great vlaue-priced find and I would highly recommend it.

Excellentes Hotel

Ein sehr gutes und sauberes Hotel. Liegt sehr Zentral zum Sultanahmet und den Verkehrsanbindungen. Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und mit einer super Aussicht direkt zum Bosporus. Wir werden dieses Hotel zu 100% erneut buchen.
