Lovely hotel and staff. Room and beds comfortable. Situated only 5 minutes walk to the Tram station for City Centre. Shops, cafe and restaurants nearby. Wondeful selection of food at breakfast time.

Staff was soooo kind and helpful! Rooms were a little small but clean and comfortable! Great water pressure! Delicious breakfast buffet! Super close to shopping, dining and coffee houses! Plenty of taxis/ Ubers around for traveling! Highly recommend and will sure to book again!

Excellent hotel! Amazing and friendly staff, they are very accomodating and look after you well. Great buffet breakfast, good variety of food, especially the scrambled eggs and fresh bread, everything is always topped up. They include all hot/cold drinks too. Room got included thoroughly daily and love that they give complimentary water everyday. Hotel location is good, loads of restaurants nearby, dessert shops and grocery/supermarkets.

Istanbul is a must see. Such a vibrant city!

It was lovely! Place was just as described ans close to everything i need: public transport and restaurants. The indoor pool was so warm and inviting i was in it most evening splashing around. The buffet breakfast was scrumptious. How I didn't bit my tongue is a miracle. The receptionist helped me wity directions that google was giving me the marathon version of. Trips that Google says needed 2 trains and a bus only required a train ride when tge receptionist assisted. Pity I didnt ask for his name! Our room was comfortable too. Got all the amenities advertised. The other half was pleased. That's all that matters!

Never again.

Quite simply I didn't enjoy it. The location is quite good because you can get to the Blue mosque quite easily and the street with shops and the Grand Bazaar. However the area itself for the hotel is is undesirable. The pool is filthy. The food of breakfast isn't labeled so you don't know what you're eating some of the time. It was cheap though and I guess you get what you pay for. Next time I'll pay more and stay maybe with a hotel chain.

Hamitbey hotel is one of those little 'jewels' you find when you dig through the huge number of options for hotels in Istanbul. Clean, quiet, and very close to all major attractions (I recommend using the train or taxi for convenience). Close to multiple EXCELLENT restaurants. The only drawback is the bed - I am 6 foot 2 inches tall, and so I had to sleep at an angle. However - the bed was comfortable and I slept like a rock! The breakfast bar is EXTENSIVE with many options to fit multiple palates - lots of vegetarian selections. The food is well-prepared, and of course the coffee and tea were excellent! Finally - the staff are wonderful at pointing out attractions and travel options. My husband was having tea in the downstairs bar as I was napping, and the staff invited him to sit with them as they had their evening dinner. So kind, and so welcoming. Just a wonderful experience.

Hôtel agréable, bien placé, propre, personnel accueillant, petit déjeuner varié. La vue sur cour est horrible mais calme. Très proche du métro et un peu en dehors des sites touristiques donc les prix des restaurants sont plus intéressants.

Wir waren mit der Familie dort und es war alles super! Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war völlig in Ordnung und der Serice sehr freundlich. Alles in einem Top! Kleines Manko, das es ein wenig hellhörig war aber das kann man noch hinwegsehen, weil man selbst den ganzeb Tag unterwegs war.

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel à Istanbul en aout 2023 pour la première fois et sommes revenus en août 2025. Il s'agit à ce jour du meilleur rapport qualité prix que l’on peut avoir à Istanbul. J’ai vraiment apprécié une nouvelle fois mon sejour, surtout que nous avons été surclassé en chambre triple pour le meme tarif. Le personnel est attachant et au petit soin, il y a une piscine ainsi qu’un sauna et hammam, petit dejeuner buffet à volonté. Le coté ultra pratique concerne le transport pour tout vos deplacements à Istanbul, tout est accessible à proximité, tramway, metro, bus etc... malgré quelques petits defauts notamment l'insonorisation, mise à part ce détail, vraiment je vous le conseille les yeux fermés. Tessekurlederim à lensemble du personnel de l'hôtel, ne changez rien !!! 💙💙
