We had a pleasant stay at the Golden Horn Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service throughout our stay was very good. Some of the rooms are quite small; however, when we mentioned this, the staff kindly upgraded us to a larger room at no extra cost. The bigger room was fantastic and made our 4-day stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel’s central location is a huge plus, with metro lines nearby and many major attractions within walking distance, making it very easy to get around and explore the city. We really appreciated the excellent customer service and the convenience of the location. Overall, a great experience and good value for money.

The staff was very helpful, the rooms were on the small side. They provided a good selection at breakfast. It was easy to walk to the main attractions in Old Istanbul. Restaurants are all around the hotel. I would recommend this hotel!

This hotel is an excellent location, and the staff go out of their way to accommodate and help guests. Rooms are a little small, but we were not in out room very much except to sleep. Rooms are very clean.

I liked the location of the place and breakfast was reasonably good. The room photos on the website are deceiving giving a perspective that these are big rooms. The rooms are extremely small, and the bathroom is tiny, you can barely move around.

The room itself was excellent. Clean and in good repair. They were polite and responsive by email. When I got to the check in, it still took reminding them multiple times of my request (to have a room facing the back rather than front street). On the plus side, the traffic and mosques were almost inaudible from here. On the downside, I still heard my neighbors- who surprisingly had guests knocking on their door consistently at 8pm, 10pm, midnight, and 2am. Pretty bad. In addition, all the staff were grim men and did not even look at me when interacting as minimally as possible.

Hotel very well located to visit main atractions as Agia Sofia, Blue Musque, Basílica Cisterna, Grand Bazar, and the beautifull streets of the city. Everything is walking distance. The rooms are a little small, but everything was clean. Pretty nice breakfast with great views from the terrace. Kind and helpfull staff

This is a goodbudgetnproperty in an excellent location for walking to the central attractions of Isranbul. It is also close to the metro. The regular rooms are very small but manageable. The suites are very nice and closer to an American size room. The staff is kind and helpful.

Perfect location. Stayed for a few days and then travelled and property looked after excess luggage and upon return gave a room upgrade. Staff helpful. There were sewage smells in the bathroom which may just be the Istanbul system.

Would love to come back

I really loved this hotel and it's top of my list if I ever come back to this city. The location so close to the metro that it's pretty much 2 minutes to the station, which is amazing. You can hop on the B1 line and head to the airports from here very easily. We took the metro to come and leave. But be warned that this entrance requires an elevator to get into the subway so it can get crowded. There's a proper entrance 5 minutes away. The room we had was for 5 people so it was fairly large and has 3 twins and a queen. Very comfortable facilities in the room such as safe, refrigerator, AC, chargers and plugs, closet space, etc. Room seemed also to be somewhat soundproofed, which was fantastic considering we were close to the street. Others commented about small room size but I was in a room for 5 which was great. Kid friendly in that sense. Service and Breakfast were really top notch and something to really write about! I went to a few different hotels in the city and this was by far the best. Great service and a variety of different eating options.

Had some maintenance issues. Toilet was not flushing. No mattress pads on the bed. The curtains were not hanging correctly. We had a nice room after upgrade. The initial room was too tiny for 2 people to be comfortable.. Very central to all of the tourist areas and mosques.

Great location, not very peaceful

Hotel location was great and bedrooms were good, all the basics were provided. The walls are very thin so you could hear lots of people moving around, particularly the loud cleaners who would chat away very loudly in the mornings on their phones making it impossible to lie-in.
