Nice enough hotel in a good location. The room was quite small, and there was a smell of kebab coming from somewhere. Not bad for a night or two though.

The hotel was in a central area, easy to access from the big avenue, but if you are coming from the other side is a little tricky especially if you are carrying luggage. The room was ok for a night, it had no windows so no natural light, it was clean, and had everything I needed, but the shower didn't work. Staff was really nice, and helpful, they booked me a cab to the airport at 3:30 a.m. and they are willing to make your stay pleasant.

Perfect location - safe for female solo travelers

Perfect for solo travel. I had the small economy room with 5 windows and I loved it . In the best area near the tram line and galata bridge and a supermarket. Lots of shops and restaurants right there . Room was clean, bed comfy, owner very nice . I highly recommended. Maybe a bit small for a couple and there was one flight of stairs so not good for disabled

Great Hotel in a Great Location

Fantastic hotel in a fantastic area! I had a great experience here for 5 nights. The location is perfect - right in the middle of the Karikoy neighborhood and a 10 minute walk to anywhere you want to go. Tons of cafes, bars, and restaurants right across the street. (Check out NATO restaurant!) Ufuk (owner) was fantastic and really welcoming, as was the rest of the staff who helped me get a cab at 6am to the airport - not an easy task for a tourist. I'd absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Genoa Port is the hidden gem of Karaköy on a little dead end street just off the main drag. The rooms are extremely clean and well constructed. The sheets and pillows are luxurious. The manager is most kind, accommodating, and helpful. Wonderful and friendly help with bags. Turkish tea and coffee flow in reception where you can watch local news with fellow travelers and locals. Plus, there’s a fantastic antique store across the street!

Accommodation was in a different building across the road and did not match the pictures. The room was in a run down condition with mold, very small and cramped. There is a club nearby which i could hear very well at night.

Sehr nette Menschen. Zimmer sind eher klein aber für Soloreisende völlig ausreichend. Sehr saubere Zimmer. Hotel wird gerade auch renoviert, wird also in Zukunft noch gemütlicher. Sehr ruhig für Istanbuler Verhältnisse.
