Hotel is is a great location, but it’s right in the middle of the wholesale area, and a boys school opposite, we were given room 402 avoid the ground floor rooms on the front of the hotel as it’s very very noisy and I’ve had the worst nights sleep ever, the hotel need to soundproof the rooms as we could also hear the doorbell from the room next to us and every time they shut their door the lights in our room would move and vibrate and rattle, I did request not to be put on the ground floor and yet ended up there, also requested to move rooms which was just one floor up and wouldn’t make any difference to the noise level, honestly we tried to stay out of the room as much as possible but it did leave a bitter taste which ruined out city break

Decent hotel which is conveniently located within walking distance of many of the major tourist attractions in the Sultanahmet district of Istanbul such as the Hagia Sophia Mosque, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cisterns and Grand Bazaar. Breakfast buffet was good and there were plenty of restaurants close by as well as a Turksih Hammam. We generally enjoyed our stay here, although the bathrooms were smaller than we would have liked and the minibar in the room was not working properly meaning drinks were at room temperature, which is not ideal in the middle of August. It would also have been nice if the hotel offered an ice cube dispenser for guests.

There was some false advertisement about welcoming you through their garden! There was no garden at all! If you went for breakfast after nine most dishes were almost empty! All together the only good thing about this hotel was it’s location!

Wonderful hotel.
Great location. Wonderful facilities and the staff are so helpful. On the day of departure we were running late for the airport and taxis were minimal. The staff member walked with us two blocks and helped us get a taxi so we could make our flight. We appreciated this and would definitely recommend staying here.

Staff were really helpful when asked about anything. They had a good digital system in the rooms for cleaning and do not disturb signs . The only thing was the breakfast was really repetitive if you were staying there for over a week . Other than that it was all good . Good location to shops about 6-7 minute walk . Close to the main bazaar.

The room was extremely noisy. There was a festival for the 3 nights that we stayed here and it was impossible to sleep since very early in the morning. We requested a change of room and they offered to change under a fee or to do a downgrade to a much smaller room with a full bed instead of a queen. I’m sure they new about the festival being on. Also very unsafe the window overlooking the street was open during all the first night we stayed. Anybody could have accessed. Breakfast is nothing special, the coffee they serve is a Nescafe machine…

You have been given a room that you have purchased. For your request for a higher segment room, our price offer should be quite normal. The noise coming from outside is the year-end closing festival of the school in front of us. And it is held every year on unspecified dates. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do as this is a local situation. Festival hours are also quite reasonable between 10 am and 5 pm. In other words, in such a touristic region, it coincides with the excursion times when the guests usually go out. Kind Regards,

A COZY LITTLE GEM
I was anxious and didn't know what to expect from this hotel, but to my surprise it turned out to be a gem, excellent location, very close to the Grand Bazaar and the Egyptian Market, comfortable, very good quality facilities and bed and bath linen, no noise, very welcoming reception with quick service , impeccable cleanliness of the room, exceptional quality breakfast, in short, all the services very well provided and, finally, an excellent staff. I could mention some names, but it would be unfair to those whose names I don't know. Congratulations. If you plan to visit Istanbul, I highly recommend the Boss Hotel Sultanahmet.

Great experience!
We travelled to Turkey as a couple and stayed in one of the basement rooms at the hotel for 9 nights. The room was great! Cleanliness, room service was spot on without any issues. Room size for a couple was just about right. Location was great too, close proximity to the main attractions: grand bazaar, Egyptian bazaar, market places, sultanahmet and cemberlitas tram stations were perfectly located too. The hotel is located in a quiet and secure area - not too noisy. Hagia sophia, blue mosque and topkapki palace are all between 10-12 mins walk (depending on how quick you walk). The breakfast was okay, nothing too fancy, very basic in all honesty. Many restaurants and coffee shops around, defo worth staying in of your visiting Istanbul and want to situate yourself in the centre. Overall a great experience and would defo recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay close to the main attractions.

Wonderful staff and location. Central AC only has fan and heat so it was uncomfortable for me as I like a cold room. Otherwise, great people and decent Turkish breakfast!

My Stay at Boss Hotel Sultanahmet
The location of the hotel is very good as majority of the attractions in Istanbul are at walking distance from the hotel. The COVID test is taken in your room. Cleanliness is remarkable. Great hotel, nice staff and the location is in the heart of the city. The only difficulty I faced is driving in the area and getting near the hotel. The traffic is so bad at from 7am till 5-6pm. If you don’t need a car, you should have no problem

Fairly new hotel with an excellent location. Rooms very tidy and pleasant. Staff helpful. Two things that need improvement: 1) breakfast - I know that virus have had some impact, but I've been to over 10 hotels since then and nowhere breakfast was so compromised (in variety, service) as in Boss Hotel Sultanahmet, definitely need to work on this 2) AC does not seem to have am automatic temp regulation, what means you either cool down all the time or leave it off.

It is perceived as a very unfair attitude that someone who does not stay at the hotel writes unconscious and unjust comments about the hotel and publishes this comment. Since the reservation made by the relevant person to our hotel coincides with the pandemic process, the reimbursements are delayed after various failures, as in the whole world. As a result, the amount collected for the reservation was realized as a result of the instruction given to the bank and the entire amount of the reservation was returned. It is absolutely unethical to allow someone who does not receive service after all these processes to write such unfair comments about our hotel. Sales channels must protect the rights of the supplier as well as the fair opportunities it provides to the consumer. Looking at all the past comments, it is clear that our business has no problems in terms of service. We are confident that our conscious guests will not consider this unfair comment.
