Room as advertised. Over looking harbour. Very comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Quiz night was abit loud but it was all over by 11 pm. Lovely breakfast

Great superior room overlooking the harbour very clean and comfortable. Noisy in evening until pub shut at 11pm but really peaceful after that

Super stay in Hugh Town
Truly dog friendly inn. Fantastic food choice both at breakfast and for dinner. Wonderful views over harbour from outdoor terraces. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Lovely relaxing stay
We booked last minute one night for our 40th wedding anniversary. The room was lovely, the bed spacious and comfortable. Very friendly and helpful staff. They had anticipated that we may need an evening meal and reserved a table with no pressure. When they discovered it was our ruby anniversary they gave us a little table in the window overlooking the harbour. It was more expensive than we usually pay but was lovely for a treat.

A welcome break from Covid madness
We were greeted by friendly and efficient staff. Our room was modern had all amenities and we had a wonderful view of the bay/harbour area. The owners have clearly spent a lot of money on the place as it is very modern with nice facilities and very pleasant staff who did their best under difficult circumstances. We will definitely be back which speaks volumes

The Atlantic was a fantastic base for our IOS holiday. The room was great and having the bar/restaurant below was very handy for spending a spare hour or two between island hopping and walks on St Mary’s.

Atlantic hotel stay
Overall our stay at the Atlantic was a very good one .Very clean ,staff very helpful, good breakfast. Our room overlooked the high street but was still quiet at night .Dining room looks out to the harbour, nice views! Nice room but a bit small but I think this is reflected in the price. My only niggle was we had a winter duvet and the room was very warm not sure if they supply thinner duvet .

Room for improvement!
We enjoined our stay. However considering the price of the rooms, we feel there is room for improvement. Firstly I would expect toiletries in the room. The staff individually were good, especially the reception staff. There seemed a distinct lack of communication and attention to detail amongst the others-nice young people probably doing holiday jobs. Having been invited to bring our little dog, our dining arrangements were poor. We are well seasoned travellers and love Scilly but come on St Austell breweries up your game a bit!!

Flew to Scillies for a few days with 2 teenagers, superb location for the hotel, right on the harbour in Hugh Town. Very enjoyable.

Close to harbour in Hugh Town
Easily accessible from harbour. Pleasant hotel attached to & part of St Austell pub group. Backs onto beach & harbour so lovely views from breakfast dining area which for some reason is closed during the evening when dining tables are at a premium?? Saw very little of hotel staff except in the morning as main focus seems to be on running the pub. Just collected my room key myself from reception area as sign refers you to manager at bar who is too busy serving drinks! No encouragement for hotel guests to eat in the pub other than to pre-book a table in the morning, thereafter, you're treated like any other punter off the street. Guess because they're a busy pub they don't feel they need to try too hard. Food decent but not exceptional. Hotel room ok but bathroom lacked a stand up shower so had to sit in bath! Our stay was more about the place rather than anything the hotel did. It merely served its purpose to provide a bed & breakfast service.

This was a surprise birthday present for my girlfriend.

Generally disappointed.
Generally disappointed with The Atlantic. The room was very small and unremarkable. We arrived before the room was ready, were told 10 minutes, and returned a couple of hours later to find our bags still in the reception area when they could have been taken to the room. The Atlantic has a wonderful dining room which looks out over the harbour, but bizarrely they were only using this room for breakfasts (which were fine) but not for dinner. For dinner we had to go next door to the pub which had a pub grub menu (chips with everything), with the exception of a specials menu which our waitress didnt tell us about! Overall The Atlantic wasnt worth £160 per night B&B. Its only saving grace is its superb position , convenient for the harbour and for other restaurants.

Check in was not until 3PM, got to hotel at about 11AM and the very kind lady said our room was nearly ready, approx. 1 hour - so we got to our room 3 hours early which was great. We had room 18 - mattress was rock hard, that was the only problem, apart from that the room was fine. Location is pretty much in the centre, only a few seconds walk to banks and shops. The food in the pub was excellent, small choice and limited specials board - prices were the same as a mainland pub. overall very good, would go back again in a heartbeat.

The room was nicely furnished and quiet and very clean .We had two good meals in the Restuarant. The upper deck area is great on a sunny days as it looks right over the harbour. All the staff were very friendly and helpful

We had a wonderful stay at the Atlantic everyone made us very welcome, excellent food and good service. Our room was very clean with good facilities. The hotel is well situated for exploring St Marys and getting to the other islands. We have no hesitation in returning.

Well positioned hotel, close to town beaches.
A warm welcome and we were able to check in early as our room was ready. Friendly helpful staff in both hotel itself and restaurant; wonderful sea views whilst dining. Hotel had previously been three separate properties, now made into one large one and our room was quite remote from reception. The room was very quiet and comfortable with an excellent view of St Mary harbour. Breakfast were excellent and we also took one evening meal at the hotel which was also excellent. Hotel staff looked after our luggage on the last day while we made the most of our time and were waiting for transport back to the airport.

Close to the quay
Lovely hotel close to all amenities especially for catching the early boats .choose a sea view room worth the extra . Need to book your table in the morning if you want dinner its very popular and excellent choice of food . Lots of stairs to climb which didn't bother us but our room was a bit small , I would imagine the twin rooms are bigger . All in all a lovely stay .

Das Geld nicht wert
Nur, weil das Hotel auf einer schönen Insel liegt, muss es nicht gut sein. Rezeption nur stundenweise am Vormittag besetzt. Das Hotel WLAN ist lausig, das vom angeschlossenen Restaurant taugt wenigstens zum E-Mail checken. Unser Zimmer lag über der Küche. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist, hat man die Qual der Wahl. Entweder 30° im aufgeheizten Zimmer oder die Gerüche der Küche. Täglich um Mitternacht zieht die Partygemeinde vor das Hotel und weckt jeden, der sich schon schlafen gelegt hat. Das für 200 Euro pro Nacht ... absolut unangemessen.

La stanza era spaziosa ed aveva una vista sul mare che era magnifica. Inoltre l'hotel è ben posizionato, pulito ed il personale gentile ed accogliente. Buona la colazione. All'interno c'è un pub molto tipico e comodo.
