"Peace and tranquillity for us - a quiet getaway with all modern conveniences. Basic shopping is very accessible and 3 ferry ports within easy reach. In February the most beautiful beaches of white sand were empty. Walking is a real pleasure, but maybe take a flask. So many geese, oyster catchers, lapwings. Amazing."

"The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. The location was amazing with easy walking to village center. Great local craft show on Tuesdays, the Glendale Village Shop had wonderful local foods, and we could watch seals and otters along the coast of The Little Minch. Easy drives to many great sites on the isle. Great place to stay!"

"We spent a wonderful week at Sgath na Craig. The cottage was as described, clean, spacious and in a lovely location. There was plenty of material, brochures and maps to give inspiration for where to go and what to see and what hike to do. Would definitely come back again."

"We had a wonderful time in this lovely cosy cottage by the loch just watching the tides come in and out. The birds keep us entertained and the extra daylight was a joy. A very well equipped neat homely cottage with everything you could possibly wish for. Especially if you like cooking from scratch."
