"We were in a unique situation as we rented a cottage during a major rain event. Over 200 mm fell within 24 hours and a state of emergency was declared for that area. We lost power and the resort gave a complimentary coffee, cinnamon buns, cookies and fruit in the morning plus a supper buffet for all guests. They also had extra flashlights we could borrow and were accommodating in any way that they could. I would definitely go back. Hopefully when I can enjoy all it has to offer. I must say the indoor pool was awesome! Staff friendly. Cottage was two bedroom and small but clean. Take your own coffee maker if you want more than 4 cups at a time. Lots of linens provided but kitchen supplies minimal such as pots and pans. Also no oven, just a two burner stove top and a bbq. But it was cozy and a nice getaway from it all."

"Despite a gale force storm, and code orange emergency our stay here was lovely. Our host even stopped by to check in on us during the major power outage that effected much of the area. Our only regret is the wind and rain put a damper on our ability to explore the local area and culture. We can only image how great this area is when the skies are blue and the winds are calm. We will definitely be back to find out!"
