"I ended up chatting with the host on market place prior to booking through VRBO. Do note, they do use a rental property management company that is not very responsive at all. Did not want to bother the host with any of the small issues like, not enough toilet paper, trash bags or paper towels (which just made us do a Walmart run NBD). I did however ask about the Internet as my wife would be working couple of the days and she needs good Internet connection, I was told that the Internet was good by the host and the company. Having read some other reviews and being a little overly paranoid we did end up purchasing star link for this trip as a precaution. I am happy we did that because the Internet was pretty terrible. Usually when we travel to Rocky Point this is not big on the priority list but given, we were going to have to work a couple days it was a must. I did find it funny that after I was given the check instructions,(some of them are outdated) they states "do not rely on the Internet coverage, unless at the hotel". Not a deal breaker the Owner is very kind, property was great, it was nice to be away from vendors and be a little more secluded than were used to. If you want to go to Rocky Point have literally no one around you this is probably the best place to stay. We went to the resort daily to hit the beach/ pools. Awesome place we will be staying again."
