The owner Gail was wonderful. Greeted us as soon as we arrived. Helped us park right next to property. Gave us all the info needed for the room and stay and dinner place suggestions. Our room was huge with big comfy bed. Learned from owner that in UK they don’t use top sheets as the top sheet is sewn to the underside of the duvet, which we found too hot, so next time we’ll just ask for an extra sheet. The ceiling is low and the overhead lights shine right in your eyes if you’re lying in bed watching TV. You can crack the windows at the top but there are no window screens, so a bee got into our room. No Air Conditioning or ceiling fans but ask Gail for a fan. The bathroom appeared to be recently remodeled and had good counter space but we couldn’t find an electrical outlet in the bathroom or any face cloths. No tub, but the shower worked great! The breakfast was great but my husband asked for over easy eggs but they were too done. It’s an old house but I would definitely stay there again because of the wonderful owner!

this is a lovely place to stay in Inverness, 10 minute walk from the town centre and all amenities. The owner and her staff are friendly and curteous. They recommended some excellent places to visit. The breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. nothing seemed to be any trouble for them. I would stay there again.

We had a great stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond for us. Room was comfortable and clean. 15 min walk into downtown area. Highly recommend.

What A Find!
Amazing! They’re located in a beautiful neighborhood, just a short walk from the river and the town center. The rooms are comfy and nicely decorated. There’s a restaurant right across the road and the Castle Pub just down the street, in the shadow of Inverness Castle. Gail and Elaine are perfect hosts, and their breakfast, IMHO, is the best I’ve had on any trip.

Ann and Gail were great hosts! Only issue we had was opening the door to our room. It drug the carpet so tightly we really had to struggle to open the door wide enough to get in the room. Other than that it was all awesome! Would definitely book again. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Great service 5 stars!

Anne and Gail were so wonderful, they made us feel at home in their beautifully run B&B. It's a quick walk to main street and the full Scottish breakfast was amazing! We plan to stay here every time we visit Inverness!

We received a very warm greeting as though returning to see old friends. The home is very charming and comfy. Love that they have hot water on demand in the shower. Sent us in our way with candies and water! Lovely hostesses and beautiful B&B!

The building had great personality, as did the two owners. We were greeted with enthusiasm and Gail was full of information in response to any questions we had. The room was clean and comfortable and Anne cooked an excellent breakfast the next morning. These two were made to be BnB hostesses! Thank you for an excellent stay.

Our hosts Ann and Gail were friendly and helpful. They suggested several eating establishments and even gave us a voucher for a free dram of whiskey at a local restaurant. Charming, well appointed guest rooms. I suggest the porridge for breakfast. It is the best I’ve ever had.

Great place to stay
Ann was really lovely and kind to give us an upgrade. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable bed, big and clean bathroom. Breakfast was included, delicious and we enjoyed the chocolate treat left in the room and milk. Free parking on site. We stayed one night for our roadtrip and Ann was kind to offer us free water at our departure.

Very warmly welcomed by Ann who made sure we were comfortable and had everything we required. She was most helpful with suggestions on places to visit along with directions. Gail looked after us on our second morning and was equally helpful. Perfectly situated for a ten minute walk into the town centre. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Dionard Guest House in Inverness! Hosts Anne and Gail made us feel like family. Anne greeted us upon arrival and was absolutely delightful. She immediately asked if we had arranged for dinner reservations, which we had not; so she got right on it - showing us menus of various recommended restaurants. We picked Nicky Tam's on the bank of River Ness and our gracious host called personally to secure the reservation. Anne quickly followed up with a gin and tonic for my daughter and a sparkling wine for me prior to dinner. Wow, what hospitality!! The food and service at Nicky Tam's was excellent. We took a lovely walk along the River Ness after dinner, as suggested by Anne, and it was so beautiful! At breakfast we ordered the full Scottish and asked to "hold the haggis", but Anne insisted we at least try theirs, so we did. It was absolutely delicious!! The entire meal was wonderful as was our stay. I would love to spend several days there next time we visit Scotland!

We just returned from a 12 day trip to Scotland where we stayed in multiple B&Bs and guesthouses. The Dionard was by far our favorite. Clean, comfortable and cozy (not small) room with great hosts. Gail and Ann were so welcoming and so helpful in orienting us to Inverness and the surrounding area. And breakfast was delicious too!

My sister and I recently stayed at the Dionard and we had an amazing experience. The facility was nostalgic and the service was beyond our expectations. We felt genuinely cared for and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Inverness. My only regret is that we didn't stay longer.

Perfekt für den Aufenthalt in Inverness
Dies ist ein wundervolles, sehr gemütliches Guest House mit einer sehr familiären Atmosphäre. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit! Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Frühstück sehr gut. In 5 Minuten kommt man zu Fuß in das Stadtzentrum von Inverness. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen!!
