"Empty. Nobody there, very strange check in process. The room was clean, but there was no trash can, no clear way to take out trash or instruction provided. No privacy curtain on the bathroom window was a bit strange and no shower curtain. Room smelled strange but was clean upon inspection. Not worth what I paid."

"We are a family of 5 with young children and we loved it! The property had all the amenities that was needed to live comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked and the home was cozy and comfortable. The yard was great for playing and even had some yard games. The owner was lovely and welcoming. Would 100% stay here again!"

"We loved our Memorial Day weekend stay in Viewtopia! Clean, comfortable, well appointed, and if you love sitting on the deck watching cruise ships, this is the place for you. Close enough to downtown that we left our car parked and walked to dinner, shopping, etc. Drove to Settler's Cove for hiking, and to Herring Cove to look for bears (a little bit too early yet). We really enjoy Ketchikan and will definitely stay in Viewtopia again."

"Very pleased to find this at a price that allowed us to also rent a car...both for less than the cost of a Juneau hotel. Used kitchen to store our breakfast and picnic food for daily outings. Loved all of the granite and unusual and interesting decor. Room always seemed too warm and no screens on windows. Opened windows anyway, which allowed the first mosquito of the season to find us. Would absolutely recommend. Bed was super comfortable. Place was very clean."

"This home was perfect for our Alaskan adventure! Plenty of space for our group of seven! The kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items we needed and the sauna and hot tub were a lovely bonus! The view from the deck was stunning and we looked forward to watching the morning skies each day. Thank you for a wonderful place for our family and Alaskan memories!"
