"This hotel is located in an excellent position for main st Banff and is well worth considering. My only criticism was that the room allocated was on the ground floor and didn't receive any natural sunlight. This mean we had to have lights on at all times and made the room a little depressing."

"Loved this property! The entire property was immaculate, staff was very friendly and helpful. We liked the location, being far enough away from the main area of Banff town to not deal with the traffic and people, but close enough to walk or hop on the bus right across street. Highly recommend Hotel Canoe!!"

"We had a really nice stay here. The cabin was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. My husband especially loved the coffee! It was about a 20 minute walk to Lake Louise which was perfect. Highly recommend!"

"I think the coffee/tea service at check in is a nice touch. The beds are very comfortable. Water pressure in the shower was awesome. Overall service on the property is great. The dining room and dinner was exceptional. The property has great little spots to enjoy, including the library and piano in the lounge. For light sleepers, the train at night can be a nuisance."
