The accommodation had everything we needed, and the very good WiFi included in the price was a big bonus. The onsite restaurant served delicious, reasonably priced food, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I also have to mention the staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout. "Absolutely great place to stay if you're in Ilfracombe. Backs onto the very pretty harbour area, really good value breakfast and the pub is friendly, great beers but not noisy at all. Our room got a little warm and the mgt instantly upgraded us to a two-room suite opposite and the general service and friendliness of the team who manage the Royal Britannia would be a major reason for going back as well as the beautiful spots immediately around the hotel. "Lovely stay at Valley view, lots of space for all the family. We had rain most of the week but enjoyed being there all together. Lovely views and not far to drive or walk to ilfracombe. They seemed to think of everything at Valley view, thank you for our great stay."

"Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. It’s an old style building though- so you can hear people in the street or going up/down the corridor outside. Doesn’t bother me- but would be disturbing for a light sleeper. However- Ilfracombe is a sleepy Devon town so there is no noise after pubs shut or before 6am"

"Quiet and clean, with a simple Check-In and Check-Out process. Plenty of parking even for large vehicles, and spacious rooms. Great shower and heating kept us warm during a rainy week. Easy route to get to Woolacombe beach."

"Nice apartment, ideal positioning, Illfracombe is very steep, but lovely walks to be had. Car parking is free after 6pm in the town also. We didn’t use the facilities but pool looked a decent size. Cushions on the bed were very hard. Could maybe do with a couple of soft ones in the wardrobe as a just incase. Lovely place overall. "
