"The location is very very close to the Valcartier Resort. The house was not clean properly. No washer and dryer. Missing towels for showers. No dish cloths, no soap, the hous is ver very old. The light outside the house did not work. You can’t deal the temperature in the house there is no thermostat. We left on the fourth day with all itchiness. They have some bed bugs. "Kitchen well appointed, but no spices, oils, sponges, foils, etc. Except salt, pepper, sugar and sweetener. Bedrooms were comfortable, however it was extremely difficult not being able to unpack suitcases. No dressers, shelves or closets. 2 basement bedrooms had open hanging racks. Still not sufficient to handle our crowd of 5 never mind the 14 people it sleeps. "Overall, the chalet was lovely—well-designed and thoughtfully put together. However, noise carries quite easily between floors. When staying on the main level, the kitchen on the top floor is directly above the two main-floor bedrooms, making it quite loud when people are still awake, especially when sitting at the dining table and moving chairs. "The location of the chalet was perfect for our needs. It was snowy and cozy, but close enough to Quebec City and all the activities we had planned. The owners clearly put a great deal of thought into the conveniences for their guests. A fully equipped kitchen made it easy to eat in some nights.
