"This hotel would have been an excellent stop-over except for one thing - the elevator was not working. The only available rooms were on the third floor (wonder why?). Otherwise, I had an excellent check-in experience at the desk and the room was fine. I was even able to park my truck in front with a trailer in tow. The location is conveniently close to the freeway, gas stations and restaurants."

The location of Lone Star Inn was perfect for us because we didn't have to travel far the next day. The staff was very friendly and for the price the room was just fine. "

"This is a great budget minded place to stay.Even though construction of a partial remodel was taking place it wasn’t a problem. All the staff is kind thoughtful and very helpful. The room was big the bed was comfortable tv worked great and the sheets clean. Spacious bath area with plenty of hot water clean linen and cold A/C.This an older property so don’t expect new and shiny. If your staying in pilot point I recommend this place and would gladly stay again "

"The hotel was under construction and there was a sign at check in. We booked a suite with 2 queen beds, but were offered to switch rooms after having no faucets in the bathroom. The other room was okay, bed comfortable, working TV, microwave and fridge. The curtains were dirty and had water stains. The bathroom ceiling was cracked and there was black water marks. The baseboards were dirty and parts of the wall smashed and flaking off. There were clear signs of no smoking but the hallway...
