Haven Inn & Suites Downtown Houston
While it is a motel, the property looks like the owner takes pride in the establishment. We got complimentary snacks and water at check-in. The room was clean and, overall, it felt safe. They also had a nice complimentary breakfast.

The entire room was dirty, the bed sheets had yellow stains, I had to ask for clean sheets. I slept on top of the covers fully clothed.
