"We loved our short stay at Silsbee’s…our room was beautiful and comfortable, and Patrick was so helpful and communicated with us quickly and thoroughly. "
"Very nice place to stay. Super cute and clean. So many extras. Unfortunately not ideal for my tall husband. The shower was a bit small for his size but just right for me. The roses in the yard smelled great. Thanks for a great stay. "

Lallys House, Historic Salem. Steps from common & Halloween events-Themed rooms!
10/10 Excellent
"We only stayed here one night, but really enjoyed this property. It was extremely clean and was well stocked, they also provided a really nice welcome package which we appreciated. We also left some stuff in the unit and the host graciously had it delivered to us. We definitely plan to stay here the next time we are in Salem, we highly recommend this property. "
Entire 4BR 2 Bath Home l Minutes to Downtown Salem
10/10 Excellent
"The property is very pretty, with a very nice floor plan. We loved how convenient we were to the water and downtown Salem. We walked into town, took the Trolley Tour, had some good drinks at The Village Tavern, while in town to celebrate our daughter's engagement. I highly recommend!! "
"House is quite old and charming - built in 1815. It's been updated with modern kitchen amenities and is very comfortably furnished. Neighborhood is quiet, although within the house you can here some from the other apartments - tho' that should be expected if you want the charm of a historic house. Cesar was an attentive, but entirely non-intrusive host, responded very quickly to questions and resolved the one minor issue i encountered within minutes. "
"We loved staying in a house built in the 1600s! It was like getting to sleep in a museum rather than a hotel.
Also - the Continental Breakfast was more than we expected! Beyond a few kinds of breakfast bread and a toaster, there was also whipped cream cheese, hard-boiled eggs, and a couple types of fresh fruit. We were very pleased.
There were only a couple drawbacks (which would NOT keep me from recommending the experience):
As no one works a front desk, you have to repeatedly call to ask questions or store your luggage, etc. Even the ability to text - rather than call - the staff would make this easier.
The shared bathroom on the 3rd floor was adorable, but the ceiling is precisely 6 feet. The shower is in a beautiful old claw-foot tub a few inches off the floor. The showerhead is suspended a few inches from the ceiling. And you're surrounded only by a shower curtain - without shelves or other conveniences. If you're over 5 foot 5, showering is a bit of a challenging, hunched over affair."
You can browse the exhibits at Salem Witch Museum, a museum with a story of its own, during your travels to Salem. While you're here, you can savour the top-notch restaurants.
