This area is the heart of the village and offers direct access to its main attractions. Horsey Mill, a prominent landmark, is just a short walk from many holiday cottages, and the path to the beach where the seals reside is easily accessible. The village has a very rural feel, with narrow country lanes and open fields.

Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will find Horsey village ideal. It offers a quiet setting great for enjoying nature, with opportunities for coastal walks and birdwatching. The convenience of being able to walk to the seal colony without needing to drive is a significant draw.

When is the best time to go to Horsey?
The best time to visit Horsey is between November and February, which is the prime season for seal watching.

It's a truly special time for nature enthusiasts and those looking for a unique winter getaway.

For families, visiting during the winter school holidays within this window can be particularly memorable. Seeing the seal pups is an educational and heartwarming experience for all ages.
