The Neighborhood: 1.6 miles away from Kapiolani Park. Waikiki Aquarium are a 20 minutes walk. 5 mins aways driving to Kūhiō beach. 1 mile away from Honolulu zoo. Walking distanc from the Waikiki Market place, International Market place and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center.
Getting Around: We recommend only renting a car on days you plan to go North Shore
If you choose not to rent a car, there are multiple bus routes just steps away.
Uber or Lyft also available. Everything else is walking distance or easily accessible by bus which is one of the best systems in the US.
Other Things to Note: CANCELLATION POLICY: Specific Cancellation policy applies on each platforms. NO Refund within 30 days of check-in, if you book on our website. Security Deposit ($500 USD) Groups of visitors, and party size visitors are not allowed. — We highly recommend our guests invest in travel insurance which reimburses for pre-paid, non-refundable expenses due to certain unforeseeable circumstances that may jeopardize your vacation plan & investment as it might forces you to incur unplanned expenses. We enjoyed our stay here at this Island Colony studio managed by Marbella Lane. The studio is on the 9th floor. The Marbella Lane staff is always responsive and helpful. Thank you for accommodating all our requests. Check in and check out was a quick and easy. As of the date of this review (July 2025) the overnight parking fee is 45/day. In addition to the amenities listed, the studio came equipped with two beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear for two, a couple soft coolers, and a boogie board. The location is within walking distance to everything on Kuhio Ave and Kalakaua Ave. We will be back!
