This hotel has good rating. I definitely agree. The room is clean and spacious. Ours comes with a microwave, small fridge, pots, pans, dishes, and a small stove. Staff is friendly. The building is kept very clean and tidy. I would stay again. I would have rated it 5 stars except the parking is terrible. One star taken off. There is a restaurant next to the lobby that has half price burgers after 9pm. That means that their customers took up a lot of the parking spots. I had a really difficult time finding a parking spot when we came back late from visiting Victoria. All the parking spots were taken, including the ones uphill on the back of the building. By the way, the restaurant's food was pretty good. I can see why they were packed.

Staff were rude. High tea experience was horrible. Rushed and rude. Restaurant took over an hour to even ask us if we wanted water. They apologized, but that was about it. Our meals were late and 2 items we wrong. No discount, nothing. Hotel used to be a class act, now it is akin to a Olive garden restaraunt and motel 6.

The staff were all very friendly. Our bed was clean and very comfortable. Even though our room was beside the elevator it wasn’t bothersome at all and we found it quiet. The pool and hot tub are VERY dated but it was nice to have the amenities there and the water was clean in both. The fitness centre is small but has everything you would need while on the road. The Denny’s restaurant attached was EXTREMELY UNDERSTAFFED and the food was just OK. We recommend walking one block up to Spoons Diner for breakfast. We found this hotel to be a good value for the location.
