"We had a fabulous weekend, property very central in Holt, with added bonus of parking, only thing needed are more instructions for the upstairs shower to get the right temperature, kitchen well equipped. The stairs are steep but not many of them, also there is a night light on landing to help you not fall down stairs!! Try the coffee shop next door too, serves tea & coffee plus lovely cinnamon buns"

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean and tidy. Breakfast and evening meals very good and well stocked bar. Only downside was too many dogs especially when people eating."

"We spent a wonderful week in Holt at this cottage. It was clean, comfortable and well-equipped and I loved the proximity to the town and to the Spout Hills pond where I could relax on a rug with a book! The parking space was a big plus too. One unavoidable downside to the cottage is the trek to the downstairs toilet via a very creaky staircase during the night! - part of the cottage's charm, but worth noting for light sleepers Thank you Vonnie."

"This really was such a beautiful and homely place to stay, couldn't have asked for better, with comfortable beds, plenty of living space with 2 lounges in the house, 2 bathrooms upstairs, and the annexe was perfect for the additional private space for my dad. We were 2 adults and 3 children in the main house. The garden was gorgeous with all the lawned area and outside seating for eating meals outside. A short walk into Holt and situated in a quiet area. Sheringham is close which we really enjoyed."

"We stayed at Sandpipers in Baconsthorpe, Holt for three nights in July 2026 and had a lovely experience. The cottage was quaint, comfortable, clean, and very well equipped, with thoughtful touches that made it feel welcoming from the moment we arrived.Its location is excellent — peaceful and rural, yet perfectly positioned for exploring the surrounding countryside and the beautiful Norfolk coast. We found it easy to reach nearby villages, walking routes, and coastal spots like Sheringham and Cromer.A charming property in a great setting."

"No interaction with property manager, whoever that might be, wanted to leave that answer blank but system would not let me.Property would benefit from information on how to operate things in the property eg heating, television, cooker etc However, very clean and good condition of furniture and fittings"
