"Wrote a review and it vanished.. trying again in less words. Hosts were phenomenal. Had everything we didn’t even know we’d need. Place was beautiful. Couldn’t ask for a more quiet and beautiful nature spot. The water is fairly secluded and in our 4 nights, we only actually saw 2 people on the water. It’s absolutely stunning here. The outdoor area is phenomenal, like a fairy tale at sundown. We ate dinner outside and watched the sunset daily (prepare for mosquitos!). Extended our stay an extra night because we weren’t ready to leave the peace. Our dog loved his time there as well, and loved going into the water directly. He’s an anxious one, but he was sooooo relaxed here. We look forward to returning to enjoy the peace and nature again. Thank you to the most wonderful and kind hosts, who went out of their way to make it just a little extra special for us!**don’t forget to enjoy the amazing tub and double shower!"

"Hosts were absolutely incredible. Did all the little things to make our stay special. Even down to having foil and plastic wrap in the kitchen - things we didn’t know we’d need! The property is beautiful, a true gem. Heard over 20 types of birds. Spent the majority of our time just outside watching nature. The spot on the water is very secluded - we saw only one jet ski and one pedal boat fisherman on the water, in the 4 nights we spent here (we extended by one night while here, because we weren’t ready to leave the peace of the place.)The hosts were both so kind when we got to meet them. The outdoor space is beautiful- we ate our dinner outside at sunset each night (prepare for mosquitos, of course!!). The solar chandeliers made the place like a fairy tale in the evenings. And the bathroom in the studio suite - you’ll want to sit in that tub more than once!We will absolutely be back. Easily one of the most peaceful places we’ve spent time. "The kitchen was not clean. Dishes were dirty refrigerator and freezer were dirty, the microwave was nasty. Bathrooms were pretty clean except for the floors you could tell they hadn’t been mopped. Did have a problem trying to check in. The maintenance guy who said that he was the owner Son allowed one of our guest access to the property about 45 minutes early when the guest asked if it was OK if we needed to wait he said no it’s fine. I’m the owner son well the next thing I know we get hit with 150 early check-in fee. I tried to explain this to the host, but it fell on deaf ears. She said the maintenance man gave her a completely different story saying that we had already talked to the host and that it was OK for us to have an early check-in, which was not true at all. It was another issue with needing everybody’s drivers license, which I feel as an invasion of privacy ans now they have information that they don’t need to have, of course, most of that problem was my fault. I didn’t read the instructions clearly, but it was a huge pain in the ass. I do feel like we should be refunded the 150 early check-in fee because my friend that got there had just gotten there early and he was waiting on us which we showed up at four and I feel like the maintenance guy/owner. Son was definitely lying and he told the host something different probably just to save his own ass. We do have pictures of the microwave and the refrigerator if you would like to see how dirty they were."
