The room was overlooking a wall and it was very very small. Very dated decor and old furniture. The bedding looked dirty and the room smelled like smoke - we booked a non smoking room. The location is good but the hotel was expensive (more expensive than the one in Kyoto that was 100 times better) and the overall condition of the property was not great. The staff speakers english but they were not very kind.

部屋の壁に飲み物をこぼしたような大きなシミがあったり、換気口？みたいなところの周りには黒く汚れの筋があったりして全体的に古くて汚い感じの部屋でした。洗面所の蛇口が壊れてるのか水がポタポタと漏れてて、シャワーを浴び終わると洗面台が水浸しに。さらにはバスタブのふちがカビで黒くなってたり、シャンプーボトルの中に長い髪の毛が入っていました。 ２泊の予定だったので翌日の朝食前にスタッフの方にお伝えしたら「お部屋に入っても良いですか」と言われ、確認をおねがいしましたがその後何の回答もなく、朝食後にどうなったかこちらから確認しなければなりませんでした。 結局部屋を替えてもらいましたが、そちらの部屋も似たようなお部屋でがっかりでした。もう泊まりません。

広島中心街からも近く、観光にもビジネスにも便利なエリアにあります。お部屋も清潔で過ごしやすかったです。近隣に飲食店が多いのも嬉しいですね。駐車場はすぐ隣の建物なので、荷物が多くても問題なしでした。また広島に行く際は泊まりたい宿です。
