"Not worth it. Way over priced! We stayed one night. Staff are very nice. But the place is of a by gone era. It’s old but not in a charming way. Showers in the onsen are cold and you have to wait for many minutes in order for hot water to come out. The rooms and elevators are old. the outdoor hotspring is on the top floor with no facilities (you have to go downstairs first and shower) and no real view to speak of. "Very nice accommodations and very good value. The rooms are in need of a refresh, but extremely functional. Our only improvement would be the food variety. We stayed for one week, which is probably unusual for most guests so we tired of the same food day after day. There is great variety, but the same ever day. As an example, for fruit it's apple, banana and pineapples every breakfast varying with other fruits every other day would be a welcome change. Same with eggs, bread selections."

"我々は松本方面から高速で麻績（おみ）まで行き、山道を走ってホテルへ向かった。街灯がないくねくね道を長いこと走ることになりとても大変だった。ホテルのスタッフさんから教えてもらい、翌日は国道19号を通るルートで帰宅した。ホテルは清潔で、大浴場も心地よく、食堂でいただく朝食はどことなく学生時代の合宿を思わせる雰囲気で心がなごむ。夜が明けると雪をまとった山脈を遠くに臨める絶景を楽しめる立地にあることがわかり、明るいうちに19号方面から到着し、ここでゆっくりと時間を過ごす旅程がおすすめ。"
